The
Pan Pacific Singapore has invested Sin$80,000 in installing a Central
Intelligent Lighting system in its 805 square metre Pacific Ballroom on
Level 1. Comprising of 14 light units, each unit can be individually
controlled to produce a host of various effects ranging from shapes to
colours to customise the ambience of the venue for any occasion.
Operating from a sophisticated technological platform, the lights can be
programmed to execute multiple effects ranging from simple movement, colour
scrolling and changes, rotation, strobe effect and indexing. The lights can
also create lit shapes or words using custom-made gobos; cut-out shapes
which take up to a week to produce, gobos can be used to effect
organisations' logos with the lights' range of ten colours.
Adjacent to the lobby, the Pacific Ballroom may be accessed by a separate
driveway preceding the main driveway thereby affording an exclusive venue
entrance. The pillar-less space is suitable for international conferences or
special events. Discreet partition doors allow the space to be divided into
three rooms for smaller events.
