THE Prince Hotel & Residence Kuala Lumpur will have a new general manager.

Lyndon Discombe, who was previously the hotel's resident manager, officially took over from Greg Lee on Jan 1.

In a farewell dinner held recently for Lee, members of the media had the opportunity to meet and get to know Discombe and bid farewell to Lee.

Lee, who has decided to leave for home in Australia, was the man responsible for many aspects of building and developing the Prince Hotel into what it is today.

For the past four years, Lee has steered the hotel to greater heights.

Discombe's previous hotel stints include working for Hayman Island Resort, Queensland Australia, Evason Hua Hin Resort & Spa, Pranburi, Thailand, and Six Continents Hotels in Hong Kong & Australia and Hyatt International Hotels in Australia.
