Korean Air launches Flights to Kota Kinabalu and Pattaya

Korean Air has expanded its network in Southeast Asia to include two new
destinations in Malaysia
and Thailand.
On
October 29th, Korean Air started flights to Kota Kinabalu (BKI), the resort and
tourist destination of east Malaysia four times a week. A B737-800 aircraft with
a capacity of 149 seats departs Incheon International Airport (ICN) every
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday at 6:40pm, arriving at Kota Kinabalu at
11:00pm. The return flight departs Kota Kinabalu at 12:20am the next day,
arriving at Incheon at 6:30pm.
On Tuesday, October 31st, the airline launched flights to Pattaya(PYX), one
of the largest tourism destinations in Thailand, three times a week on Tuesdays,
Fridays and Saturdays. The flight departs Incheon at 8:05pm, arriving in Pattaya
at 12:05am the next day. The return flight leaves Pattaya at 1:20am, reaching
Incheon at 8:35am. A B737-800 with 149 seats is being operated on this route.
To meet growing tourist demand in the winter season Korean Air will, this
month, launch regular flights to Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal.
Frequencies will be added to existing flights to Phuket, Denpasar Bali,
Singapore. Korean Air will also strengthen services to other parts of the world
by increasing frequencies to Honolulu, Paris and Vladivostok. The operation
between Incheon and Christchurch will be reinstated and charter flights to
Melbourne will be opened for those headed down under. |
