Lanka's Ministry of Tourism and the Tourist Board expect to develop historic
Yapahuwa in the North Western Province of Sri Lanka as a tourist attraction.
Yapahuwa has been selected as the venue for the national celebrations of
World Tourism Day, which falls on September 27.
Yapahuwa was Sri Lanka's fourth capital and the area is rich with much
cultural heritage. King Buwanekabahu I, who built the rock fortress, ruled the
country from this site in the 13th century A.D. |
 Galadari Hotel Colombo 
This hotel is located in the middle of Colombo and overlooks the ocean harbour.
Colombo International Airport is a 45 minutes drive from the hotel. The Central
Railway Station is just one mile away. All rooms are spacious with en-suite
