Marriott has opened a new 165-room Courtyard by Marriott Green Community in
Dubai. This is the first Courtyard by Marriott brand in the UAE.
Located 40 kilometers from downtown Dubai, the Courtyard by Marriott
Green Community Dubai offers unique dining experiences, leisure facilities
and innovative banquet facilities. Opening rates are available from AED 490.
The design was conceived by Mr. Jamal Darkan of ARC International and
locally adapted by Mr. Khaled Karagoly from Spoerry & Dewan. The interiors
were designed by Mr. Pierre Bories from Palm Architects. This contemporary,
low rise hotel is situated in the 67 picturesque hectares of Green Community
covering landscaped parkland and an abundant crystal blue lake. The open
plan design is accentuated by dramatic lobby interiors and bright yet subtle
colors. Abundant natural light creates a unique design statement. The theme
for the interiors of Courtyard, Dubai is avante garde, spacious, comfortable
and efficient.

The 165 generously sized rooms and suites include 81 King size, 74
Double/Double, 4 Junior and 6 Executive suites. Tastefully furnished, all
rooms are equipped with broadband instant internet access, an executive-bar,
tea and coffee making facilities, in-room safes that can accommodate
standard sized laptops individual climate control, two-line telephones,
voice mail messaging and interactive television.
Lakeside view, crisp white sheets, cozy duvets, fluffy down pillows,
specially designed reading lights, oversized mirrors and abundant natural
light filtering through windows creating the ambience of a personal
residence.
More than 555 square meters have been dedicated to the hotel’s banquet
and conference offerings. The 435 square metre pillarless Ballroom, can be
partitioned into three different sections, and can accommodate up to 500
persons in theatre-style seating. Three meeting rooms offer additional
opportunity for conferences, seminars, smaller meetings and workshops.
State-of-the-art audio visual equipment, computer connections and internet
availability provide an office away from the office, while the surrounding
Green Community provides the perfect break-out environment.
The hotel’s leisure facilities include an outdoor swimming pool,
childrens pool and Jacuzzi with a pool bar offering light snacks and
beverages and a well equipped fitness centre with Nautilus equipment.
