An American film crew along with renowned cook Tommy Tang arrived in HCMC
Mar. 4 to shoot the HCMC leg of their
Vietnam trip chronicling
the country’s tourism and cuisine

Cuisine is a popular cooking/travel series for the Public Broadcasting
Service (PBS) that began broadcasting in 1996 in the US.
The PBS crew from the will stay in the city for a week to shoot beautiful
scenes at the Reunification Palace, History Museum, War Remnants Museum, Cu
Chi Tunnels, Notre Dam Cathedral, HCMC Post Office, Binh Tay Market, as well
as Thien Hau and Giac Lam pagodas.
The famous American cook with the Asian origin will prepare Vietnamese
dishes along with cooks from Sofitel Plaza, Rex, Amara and Binh Quoi Tourist
Village.
For the taping of previous shows, the crew shot scenes at Hanoi, ancient
capital of Hue and Danang. |
