The Israel
Tourism Office invites travel agents and travel professionals in
Melbourne and
Sydney to attend the upcoming Israel Travel Expos. The 2005 Israel
Travel Expos will incorporate the most comprehensive range of Israel tour
programs ever seen in
Australia.
In addition to Australian Jewish commual organisations showcasing their
extensive range of Israel programs, the travel industry will be well
represented with operators such as Tempo Holidays, Insight Vacations,
specialist agents and wholesale tour operators and the Israel Tourism Office
presenting at the evenings. The Expos are being heavily promoted to the
100,000 strong Jewish communities of Sydney and Melbourne and to the general
public.
Tourism to Israel from Australia has enjoyed a 27% growth during the
first six months of 2005 compared to the same period in 2004. Based on
current growth, the total market for Australian travelling to Israel in 2005
is expected to approach 20,000, compared to 15,000 in 2004 and 10,000 in
2003. There is no doubt that Israel is a tourism destination undergoing
strong and sustained resurgence.

travel agents and travel professionals, its an outstanding opportunity to
catch up on the latest developments in Israel tourism.
