Nestled
high on one of the most spectacular hillsides in the world, overlooking the
entire Amalfi Coast, the little town of Ravello offers some exquisite villas
and gardens to visitors. Richard Wagner spent many a month and wrote parts
of Parsifal here. In his memory, and in those same settings that inspired
him, this series of concerts is held each fall, featuring world-renowned
artists performing old favorites and new editions. There is something truly
exciting about hearing great music performed in a special architectural or
natural setting, so even if you aren’t a huge classical music fan, you will
probably enjoy one of these concerts.
